FireBar 简体中文

Is your side income enough to quit on?

FireBar puts every side income stream in one place, then answers the question you are actually asking — not “what did I earn this month”, but “what can I count on next month”.

The bar is your monthly target. Clear it, and quitting becomes a real conversation.

First, a definition

We don’t call it MRR

Side income is overwhelmingly one-off: a consultation, a template sale, one month’s ad revenue share. None of that is recurring in the SaaS sense. Summing it up and calling it MRR means using a metric that assumes sustainability to analyse sustainability.

Likewise, an annual figure computed as “this month × 12” lies to you — one large order inflates it into a fantasy. In FireBar the annual figure is the trailing twelve months actually received.

These look like details, but you are going to make a resignation decision with these numbers. A tool that flatters you is worse than no tool at all.

Sustainability = three separate questions

Enough · Steady · Spread

Most trackers answer only the first. The other two are where people get hurt.

01

Is it enough

Replacement rate in three readings at once: this month, six-month median, and the worst month. For a resignation decision, the worst month matters more than the median.

02

Is it steady

The strongest signal isn’t “I hit the target this month” — it’s consecutive months on target. One spike and six straight months are not the same thing.

03

Is it spread

Looks diversified, but three quarters of it comes from one platform — one policy change and it’s gone. FireBar says so out loud.

Capture

Take a screenshot. That’s the whole workflow.

Set up an iOS Shortcut once. After that, one press of the Action button on any order page: screenshot taken, sent into the app, amount, date and source recognised. You just confirm.

Anything the parser isn’t sure about is left blank and highlighted — never pre-filled with a suspicious number. This is financial data; we don’t guess. If you’re offline or recognition fails, the draft is kept intact: retry, or just type it in.

Privacy

We can’t reach your income data

We cannot control retention by third-party LLM providers — some retain API requests for a period for abuse monitoring. That’s stated plainly in the privacy policy.

Pricing

Capture is free forever

Manual entry and data export are unlimited and free forever — you typed that data in yourself; it shouldn’t be held hostage.

A future subscription unlocks insight: full history, the three replacement-rate readings, concentration analysis, and AI capture (which has a real per-use cost). Version one is entirely free.
